A Garden Pest

My daughter stumbled on this in our woods a few weeks ago.

Now I keep finding this in the gardens.

This is the first time I've ever had extensive deer damage. I hope that doe finds another place to raise next year's fawn!

  1. I think deer are such beautiful creatures, and I'm sure Emma was excited to find the fawn. But your poor garden! A friend of mine was asking for advice on what she could plant in a shade garden that the deer would avoid, so I did some research on deer-resistant plants. There are some, but from what I've read, if the deer are hungry enough, they'll eat anything. Let's hope your doe finds another dining place somewhere else.
