I was looking at one of your posts that included pics of tulips. You mentioned a local store in Ann Arbor where you purchased them, and so I went hunting online for it. What I found was a store called Downtown Home and Garden- is that the right one? Their prices on tulips are AMAZING, so amazing, in fact, that it makes me suspicious. Do you know if this store has a decent reputation, or should I buy elsewhere? I'm afraid of the whole, "If it seems too good to be true, it probably is."
It is called "Old House Gardens". Here is a link to their website: http://oldhousegardens.com/index.asp
I don't know if they have a brick & mortar store, but they do have catalogs. If you click on their newsletter link, there is an Ann Arbor address, so there might be an actual store.
Omigosh, the Chihuly rose is as beautiful as its name implies! I might have to re-think my reluctance to plant roses.
ReplyDeleteEmma has done a wonderful job--her garden is lovely!
