Emma's Garden

May has been blooming away here. Emma's gardens are doing really well, including the Chihuly Rose,

and the pink dianthus,

and the blue-eyed grass,
 and veronica.

She's been a good gardener, weeding and watering.

  1. Omigosh, the Chihuly rose is as beautiful as its name implies! I might have to re-think my reluctance to plant roses.

Emma has done a wonderful job--her garden is lovely!

  2. I was looking at one of your posts that included pics of tulips. You mentioned a local store in Ann Arbor where you purchased them, and so I went hunting online for it. What I found was a store called Downtown Home and Garden- is that the right one? Their prices on tulips are AMAZING, so amazing, in fact, that it makes me suspicious. Do you know if this store has a decent reputation, or should I buy elsewhere? I'm afraid of the whole, "If it seems too good to be true, it probably is."

    1. It is called "Old House Gardens". Here is a link to their website: http://oldhousegardens.com/index.asp

I don't know if they have a brick & mortar store, but they do have catalogs. If you click on their newsletter link, there is an Ann Arbor address, so there might be an actual store.
