Still More Season

Really, it's still winter. I wish we could speed through winter, like you can a book.

The following photo is another attempt at appreciation. It's a lousy photo, because it was shot through a thick window, but it does showcase the view I see from the hallway outside my office. The entire hallway is glass, and faces the creek that runs through campus. It's a gorgeous view, even when the creek is frozen, as it is now. Much prettier than the photo indicates.
So it's still winter, but we're not in the midst of a polar vortex, and we're not digging out from 30 inches of snow. That's something worth appreciating.

  1. My classroom is an interior room so I go all day without seeing the sun. :( It's always such a joy to leave for the day and be blinded a bit by a deep blue sky. But a week off thanks to a blizzard makes up for it!

    1. Our classrooms are all interior too, presumably so students are only distracted by their phones :-) Thanks for stopping by, and I'm looking forward to hearing how all the "hairy balls" flowers do in your garden this summer!

  2. You still have snow? Here it's almost all melted. Rained today also.

    1. We had rain last week, and more rain again today. It's pretty ugly outside :-)

  3. What a lovely view! I can't believe I'm saying this, but I really wouldn't mind a little snow. It hasn't felt much like winter at all this year, but I'm getting tired of the brown and gray landscape.

    1. Yes, I have to agree. I thought we might get some snow from this latest storm, but so far it's all rain and sleet.

  4. That is a beautiful view! Please take another shot from this same location in the other seasons, won't you?
